Hi, I’m Clare, and I am Across the Courtyard Jewellery Design, from beginning to end.

Creating bespoke, handmade jewellery including unique designs, special commissions and thoughtful remodelling, using stunning stones, sumptuous precious metals and a love of good design, that is also infinitely wearable, all combine to create Across the Courtyard Jewellery Design, my dream.

I’m passionate about every part of the journey and process of creating beautiful, personal jewellery. From the initial design, through the sourcing of amazing stones and metals, to the making of each piece by hand in my workshop… across my courtyard.

After graduating with a degree in jewellery design in 2004 I worked for a large jewellery workshop and then as the sole goldsmith and bespoke designer for a high-end, luxury jewellers, both of which have given me the experience and confidence to start my own business.
