Privacy Policy.

As a small business I sometimes need to collect personal information to enable me to complete your order or to communicate with you regarding an enquiry.

These may include: Name

                                Address

                                Phone number

                                E mail address

I will never share your personal data with any third parties, except if posting your item to you or a chosen recipient, when I will need to give the address to the delivery company, usually the Royal Mail.

You are responsible for gaining permission from anyone for any information provided regarding customised items, e.g names or dates, or for any address given for delivery that is not your own.

Any personal information, including any provided for customised items, will be kept only for the time needed to complete the order or for account purposes, afterwards it will be deleted or shredded as necessary.

HMRC requires that I keep financial records for at least 5 years after the 31 January submission deadline of the relevant tax year.

Across the Courtyard social media accounts are with Facebook and Instagram and any messages including personal information sent through them are subject to their privacy policies. It is your responsibility to review them. The same applies to any Etsy orders or conversations.

Any card payments are taken through third party processors such as Paypal or Etsy. They have their own privacy policies and it is your responsibility to review them.

My newsletter has double opt-in enabled through which you will receive an e mail asking you to confirm you are happy to sign up to my newsletters.

You may request what personal information I hold about you and ask that I delete it at any time.

I will update this policy as and when it is required.

Birthstones

Gemstones come in pretty much any colour you can think of and in every hue as well. They can add some subtle sparkle, a hint if colour or huge impact focal point to any piece of jewellery.

If you can't decide on your favourite colour or stone a good place to start is with your birthstone. A semi-precious or precious stone that is linked to your month of birth or star sign. You can find various lists of birthstones from modern to astrological but below lists the range of colours and properties of the traditional birthstones.
